In India, whenever we talk about airports, we talk about how crowded or mismanaged they are. Sadly, we never talk about the aerial views they offer, the cleanliness, their architecture and other good things. This is probably because we've never got the chance to. If we are praising an airport, then we hardly make a reference about one of our own airports. We talk about Kuala Lumpur, Frankfurt or New York. Let's just say, Jubbaratti has the most picturesque setting. The Airport, located 22 km away from Shimla, is also one of the smallest airports in India.
3. Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh.
Well, it's one of the highest airports in the world, located at 10,682 ft above sea level.
4. Lengpui Airport, Mizoram.
Lengpui airport, is one of the three airports in India that has the 'table top' runaway, which gives an optical illusion when you view the runway head on.
5. Agatti Airport, Lakshadweep.
From the sky, Agatti airport looks like a random piece of land. Of course, the blue water surrounding it is the Indian ocean. But, the best part is, that it looks as if you are landing in middle of nowhere.
6. Dabolim Airport, Goa
When you are just about to land at the Dabolim Airport, you see a gorgeous view of the sparkling blue Arabian sea.
7. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad
One of the safest airports in India, the Hyderabad airport is also one of the largest in the country.
