Bigg Boss has to be the ultimate baap of all reality shows. Some people come to Bigg Boss house for money and fame while some just want to cut off from their monotonous life. However, no matter how jazzy and comforting the Bigg Boss house looks from outside, contestants have a tough time inside the Bigg Boss house.
Bounded by a lot of clauses and conditions, have a look at the contract which every Bigg Boss contestant has to sign and adhere to when they enter the Bigg Boss house.
1. Every contestant is paid a bomb to take part in the show. However, if a contestant gets evicted in just one week, signing amount is the minimum guarantee that the contestant receives.
The signing amount is paid within seven days of execution of the contract.
2. After a contestant signs the contract, that person has to be available to the production house (Viacom 18) exclusively for 117 days!
While 100 days is for shooting inside the Bigg Boss house, remaining 17 days are for preparation, promotion, marketing and promo shoots.
3. Apart from the signing amount of the contract, if a participant survives for more than two weeks, they are given a weekly 'survival' amount!
Weekly consideration is payable to a contestant only for the period of his/her stay inside the Bigg Boss house.
4. As per the contract, contestants are not supposed to know about 'other' co-participants of the house. Channel expects the participants to maintain a secrecy on the same!
5. Be it newspapers, books or holy books, contestants are not allowed to carry any reading material inside the house!
So even if a contestant needs one, the producers themselves provide copies of holy books or scriptures.
