    9 Once-Famous Celebrities Who Faded Away Into Oblivion After A Smashing Bollywood Debut

    When someone makes an entry in Bollywood, all they wish for is a remarkable debut and a steady career after that. Many Bollywood celebrities did get a well-deserved break where they did prove their caliber but what followed afterwards, is still a mystery!
    While some actresses tied the knot to live a happily married life, others just went MIA for a long time. From Gayatri Joshi, who debuted in Ashutosh Gowarikar'sSwades to Sneha Ullal who debuted opposite Salman Khan in Lucky-No Time For Love, entering Bollywood with powerful Khans surely didn't guarantee them a 'Happily ever after Bollywood Career'!
    Here are 9 Bollywood stars who managed to turn heads at the box-office with their brilliant performances but they never returned to Bollywood!

    Gayatri Joshi totally did justice to her performance as Geeta in Swades. However, Bollywood wasn't hers to conquer. This pretty damsel quit Bollywood and chose to get married. Her debut film released in 2004 and in 2005 she tied the knot with a businessman. She is blessed with two sons and she is often seen at high end parties and social events in Mumbai.

    A ramp-model by profession, Diana played the role of Mira in Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan Starrer Cocktail. Diana Penty literally vanished in thin air after her blockbuster debut! She did a few media campaigns for Tresseme and a few other brands.

    From a popular TV Show Amanat, Gracy Singh dazzled and rocked the silver screen as a 'desi' Gauri opposite Aamir Khan in Lagaan. The film won a lot of efforts and Singh landed with another role opposite Sanjay Dutt in Munnabhai MBBS. Both her films became huge hits but Bollywood never appealed to her. She decided to quit films and this 35-year-old actress now enjoys her appearances at social events.

That itself speaks a lot about her passion. She acted in Delhi Belly and people loved her performance. She was last seen in Ayan Mukerji's YJHD in a brief role as Ranbir Kapoor's boss.

    Hansraj gotto be the most popular and loved child artist in the history of Indian Cinema. Hansraj started his career as a child in the 1983 film Masoom, which starred Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi. After growing up, Jugal acted in Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein. The film opened to a lukewarm response at the box-office. Hansraj left acting and stepped into directorial shoes to direct films. He won a lot of awards for his animated film Roadside Romeo!

People loved her and her dance in 'Odhni' song became an instant hit back then! Chawla never showed keenness on doing Bollywood films and she went on to make it big in Telugu and Kannada films. (Punjabi too!)

    A tourism degree landed her a job at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. Her charming looks helped her in a way that she was roped in by a talent management company with a modelling career. She was later noticed by Yashraj's casting team and she ended up signing a three film deal with YRF. Her debut film was with Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. The film didn't do wonders at the box-office but Vaani's performance was noticed by critics and audience. She vanished for a long time after her first film but according to reports, she is all set for her second film with YRF which might be opposite Arjun Kapoor!
