The train, that was started by the late Rajmata of Jaipur, Gayatri Devi, has an apt name in Palace On Wheels. Because it is indeed a palace, that runs smoothly on the tracks. It travels through cities like Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittaurgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra, before returning to Delhi.
