    Also known as Mararikulam Beach, this beach is everyone's idea of paradise. Crystal clear blue water, white sand and the shore lined with coconut trees, this beach is a hidden gem. It offers water sport activities and a few resorts situated at a distance. However, there is no commercial aspect to the beach. There are no food stalls as it is a lesser known beach.     2. Beach No. 7, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
    Radha Nagar Beach, as it is referred to by locals, is not a much visited place and has managed to steer clear of commercialisation. Beach No 7 also boasts of some of the best diving schools in India and is a great place to go snorkeling or scuba diving. As the island is tiny, there is hardly anything to do here except laze and relax.

    3. Bangaram beach, Lakshadweep Islands
    The only beach where you can drink in Lakshadweep, Bangaram is still not as famous as Agatti as it is difficult to reach. However, the island does have amazing sights, a lot of flora and fauna, and a wide variety of birds and wildlife to view. A great place to be at one with nature.

    A beach where there is nothing, except a few locals with their tiny fishing boats and gear, an endless expanse of sand and the never-ending blue sea. Just plonk down on the sand, smell the sea air and laze around. Heck, the beach is so unknown we couldn't even find an image of it anywhere!

    Just as the name suggests, the beach is an amazing place to let go and relax. Though a little far away from the city, the beach is very clean and great for those wishing to just laze around in the sand. The best part is, you get to the beach through the backwaters, via a ferry!

    7. Secret Beach, Kerala
    The beach is as secretly situated as the name suggests. Secret Beach is the home of a small coastal community in Alleppey, Kerala. The beach is not much of a tourist destination and you will mostly only find the locals on the beach. A great way to learn about the local culture and sample local cuisine while chilling.

    Sounds crazy but there is a beach in Goa that is a secret beach. Accessible only by ferry from other popular beaches, Butterfly Beach got its name owing to the plethora of butterflies that can be found there. Unlike other commercial Goa beaches, Butterfly Beach is more of a rocky beach surrounded by dense foliage.

    Guhagar is one of the most underrated beaches of Maharashtra. Clean water, pristine sand and a never-ending coastline, Guhagar is very sparsely populated and you will mostly find yourself completely alone on the beach with just tons of sea-shells and a view of a lifetime.
