If you witness a little extra bumper to bumper traffic in some areas of Delhi in the next few days, then please don't fret. Chances are that Hollywood megastar Leonardo DiCaprio might be passing by from that area! The Titanic star is all set to visit the national capital towards the end of October to do groundwork for his untitled yet-to-be-announced documentary film on climate change. His major plan is to profile Sunita Narain of Centre for Science and Environment (CSE).
According to the makers, the film will "explore the crisis of our time in a way that has never been done before". It will also be a part of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation which works "with the mission of protecting the world's last wild places".DiCaprio's foundation has also been funding and implementing several conservation projects across the world.
The Wolf of Wall Street star might have been unlucky at the Academy Awards, but as a UN messenger of peace on climate change, he seems to be making quite a mark wherever he is going. And Delhi just can't wait any longer to welcome him.
